Manchester City eyeing €105m move for Real Madrid target

Real Madrid is expected to be relatively busy in the summer, although they will not be as active as many other teams in La Liga and throughout Europe. Nevertheless, there may be several blockbuster professionals in the Santiago Bernabeu.

From Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to be the first, with Real Madrid officials convinced that a deal will be concluded for the English right back to arrive when his Liverpool contract ends at the end of the season. A new left back can also arrive, although it will not be Alphonso Davies, because he recently signed a new deal with Bayern Munich.

Another possible arrival is Florian Wirtz. Real Madrid is long -term admirers of the German playmaker, who has been a sensation for Bayer Leverkusen for the past 18 months. They see him as a leading candidate as their next Big-Note midfield drawing, although surgery will not be easy and not just because the ruling Bundesliga champions are not willing to sell.

According to MD, Manchester City are just as interesting in Wirtz, who they see as the ideal successor to Kevin De Bruyne, whose prominence in the Etihad Stadium continues to fall. Their idea is to take a step for Wirtz in the summer, and the report states that an offer of € 105 million is being prepared.

In the summer, Wirtz will have two years left on his Leverkusen contract, so a choice must be made by the player and club with regard to whether he can continue. If there is little hope for a renewal, a sale is expected, so Real Madrid may have to move quickly if they want to compete well with Man City.

It will be interesting to see if Wirtz is leaving this summer, and if so, where he ends up. It would be a major coup for Real Madrid if they sign him, that's for sure.
