Despite the interest of Manchester United, AC Milan and Atletico Madrid, Valencia is about to keep midfielder Javi Guerra. The 22-year-old was noticed as one of the most positive players in La Liga, and it seems that he will stay in Spain for the time being.
United has more or less scored Guerra since he broke on stage in a Valencia shirt and reportedly was close to a contract with Guerra. In the meantime, Atletico Madrid was for him within a few hours after completing a move before he stopped the deal to sign Conor Gallagher, and AC Milan also insisted on a movement this year.
After reporting that Guerra Valencia gave priority, Cadena Cope says that Valencia has agreed with him for the next four years. Guerra had two left on his contract, but now, until 2029, remains, in a large coup for Los Che and Vers, appointed as general manager Ron Gourlay.
However, it is not only Guerra who stays in Valencia. Colleague Spain Under-21 International Cesar Tarrega will donate its own new five-year contract despite interest this summer, one of the leaders on the side. In the meantime, Winger Diego Lopez, another important part of the side of Carlos Corberan last year, will sign a new four -year contract in Mestalla. He was their second scorer with nine goals last season.
After Crithian Mosquera and Yarek Gasiorowski were sold for almost € 30 million, Valencia has accelerated their business and brought RCD Mallorca Center-back Jose Copete in. Marca says there can be three more on the road. Midfielders Baptiste Santamaria is set to draw on a free from Rennes, and Filip Ugrunic also travels to Valencia for a medical one.
Both had a year on their deals in France and Switzerland respectively, with the Swiss international Ugrunic who played all his career in his native country so far. They also say that the real Sociedad striker Umar Sadiq could be back on their agenda. The Nigerian attacker spent the second half of last season on loan in Valencia and has asked for a new loan agreement. Como's Ivan Azon and Mallorca's Cyle Larin are other alternatives on the shortlist of Valencia.
