Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has made it completely clear that he does not believe that Marcus Rashford will be part of his team for the time being, after he has confirmed that he does not want the English international in his neighborhood. The 27-year-old is associated with a move to elsewhere, but so far United has not received any offer.
Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan have shown interest in Rashford, but it is thought that Barcelona has his preference for a transfer until the end of the season. However, after Rashford returned to the training last week, it seemed that he could eventually stay with Manchester United.
After a 1-0 win over Fulham, however, Amorim made it completely clear that he did not want to hold Rashford.
“It is always the same reason: the training, the way I think a football player should behave in life. It is every day, every detail. If things don't change, I'll not change. It is the same situation for every player. If you do the maximum and the right things, we can use every player, “he told the BBC.
“You can see that we are missing a bit of pace on the couch, but I would say so [Manchester United goalkeeper coach Jorge] From vital importance for a player who does not give the maximum every day. I will not change in that area. “
Barcelona has to free up at least six million euros in salary before they can make a transfer for Rashford possible, but none of the previously advertised candidates to leave, Eric Garcia and Ansu Fati, looks like they will do that. A possible relocation from teenage star Unai Hernandez to Saudi Arabia could, however, bring them close to the required money to close the deal, which would mean that Rashford's wage should be paid for the rest of the season. Given the remarks of Amorim, United and/or the player may be willing to make a compromise.
