Valencia has had a promising summer so far, and now it has become even better for those who are associated with Los Che now that Javi Guerra has committed his future for the near future to the club.
Earlier in the summer it seemed that Guerra would leave the Mestalla, whereby Manchester United was said to have been close to an agreement with the 22-year-old midfielder. Milan was also enthusiastic, but in the end both clubs missed his signature.
On Saturday, Valencia announced that Guerra had written a new four -year contract that holds him in the club until the summer of 2029.
“Valencia CF has reached an agreement for the renewal of Javi Guerra for the following four seasons, until June 2029.
“The young midfielder, one of the most striking talents of his generation, is expanding his contract as a Valencian player in a renewal that demonstrates the fixed dedication of Valencia CF to his projection, as well as the willingness of the player to continue to grow hand in hand with the club.
“The signing of his new contract consolidates his identification with this new phase of the project and guesses continuing to take steps with the aim of writing his own history as an emblematic player, Valencian and at home.”
Guerra has been one of the striking artists of Valencia since the arrival of Carlos Cberan as head coach, and next to Pepelu he will form a strong double pivot during the coming season. Both players will be crucial for Los Che, which will focus on finishing in European places.
In addition to Guerra, Valencia is expected to complete another contract agreement in the coming days, that of Cesar Tarrega. The defender, who was interested in Newcastle United earlier in the summer, is expected to sign a new five -year -old deal.
