Manchester United has to sell winger Alejandro Garnacho this summer to help sign Sportor's Viktor Gyokeres.
This is reported by the Telegraph who explains that the Red Devils can accept a £ 60 million bid for Garnacho, which could then open the path for manager Ruben Amorim to reunite with Gyokees for the same figure despite his release clause that reported as £ 83.6 million.
The Swedish International has scored 53 goals this season in all competitions and is top of the United wish list when they start with their squadevision.
Garnacho was subject to bids from Chelsea and Napoli in the transfer window of January and was now not sure where his future is further than this season after he has been split off by Amorim in the Euroopa League defeat against Tottenham.
“Until the final I played every round to help the team, and today I play 20 minutes, I don't know,” said Garnacho.
“The final will have influence (my decision), but the entire season, the situation of the club. I will try to enjoy the summer and see what happens next.”
The brother of the Argentina wing player, Roberto Garnacho, posted on his Instagram account that the winger was 'thrown under the bus'. Asked if he should have taken Garnacho earlier, Amorim said:
“How often did we have this conversation, and it was the opposite? Some players come in, such as Mason Mount, against Athletic Club and change the game.
“So now it's easy to say. Who missed the big chance in the first half against Bilbao? Yes (Garnacho). Of course it is now easy for us to talk about many views.”
Garnacho's time at United seems to be over, but for United to replace him, they first have to sell the young winger for a considerable fee to collect much -needed funds to sign Gyokeres in the coming months.
Now, however, the club will be without European football for next season, the striker can be relieved and can run its head if United keeps falling apart.
