Amad Diallo was one of the highlights in a desperate gloomy season 2024-25 for Manchester United, and in the midst of shock suggestions that he could become a brand weight for new signing sessions, Louis Saha made his feelings clear
Whatever happens with Bryan Mbeumo, Manchester United should keep Amad at Old Trafford. That is the image of the former United striker Louis Saha, who is a big fan of the young Ivorian winger.
Mbeumo, 25, is all ready and has agreed to move to United if the Red Devils can close a deal with his club side, Brentford. So far, United has rejected two offers by the London Club, while Tottenham – who has just poached bees Baas Thomas Frank – have made an offer that more than everything is offered by United.
Nevertheless, despite interest from Spurs, it is expected to end up Mbeumo, with his preference to move to Old Trafford.
He will become a member of Matheus Cunha, who has completed all his £ 62.5 million step from Wolves, with the couple both intended for important roles by Ruben Amorim. The Portuguese wholeheartedly stick with its 3-4-3 formation that still has to fruit in Manchester, with both both set for starting spots such as the Twin No.10s, both sides of no. 9.
That means that Amad, one of the few shiny lights during a gloomy 2024-25 campaign, will probably miss his preferred position on the right side of the attacking trio. He may have to fall back and play on Wing-Back if he wants to keep a starting point, or would otherwise be a replacement.
Speculation has risen, however, that he could in fact be poured and sold aside, while the club tries to earn back funds. But Saha has encouraged United Chiefs to do what is needed to keep Amad.
“No! No! No! No! No! If there are one or two players who don't have to leave, he's and Bruno Fernandes,” Saha told the Daily Express with Betselect. “He is the kind of player who doesn't care where he plays. He has said it himself; he will play like a left back or center-back-he will just play.”
And when Saha Amad supported, he had cracks at some of his Old Trafford teammates with a number of very pointed comments.
He continued: “Some other players will say:” I want to play there “or” I should play [in] this [position]. ' Those players must keep their mouth shut. Why? Because the result we had last year is ridiculous.
“If you have 20 goals, you might ask those things. But none of those players have scored more than 15 goals and they ask for things. It's crazy.”
