Rasmus Hojlund may not play for Man United again after he was an unused replacement against Fiorentina on the day Benjamin Sesko signed.
United is convinced that a deal can be closed with Milan, who rebuild their team after the return of coach Massimiliano Allegri. Milan finished eighth last season and was not eligible for Europe.
It remains unclear whether a permanent deal could be calculated as a united value Hojlund at around £ 30 million and Milan is looking for a loan movement for the 22-year-old.
Hojlund is only two years after a five -year -old deal at United, but the club decided to cash in early this calendar year if they recruited a new center ahead.
