The player in question has made 82 league matches for the LaLiga outfit that spent two years with their youth teams.
According to the Spanish publication Marca, he has chosen to reject new conditions to keep him at the Mestalla last week.
It is still claimed that the Red Devils keep an eye on the player and work behind the scenes to take him to Old Trafford.
That is none other than midfielder Javi Guerra, who has been a regular member of the U21 squadrons of Spain and scored a penalty in their quarter-final defeat of their European championships to England last month.
