Last Saturday at UFC Tampa, highly rated flyweight contender Manel Kape finished Bruno Silva in the third round and demanded he get a title shot.
Since joining the UFC in 2021, UFC fans have been extremely hopeful that Manel Kape can find success in the Premier promotion, but he has consistently fallen just short.
After a disappointing performance and leading up to his last fight against Muhammad Mokaev, Kape had to bounce back to victory at UFC Tampa to stay in title contention.

Manel Kape has a mid-fight conversation with Dana White while demanding a title shot
Right in the first round, 'Starboy' came out, showing off the skills he's only shown glimpses of so far.
The Angolan unleashed his attack early and consistently connected with Silva, causing the Brazilian problems from the start.
Going into the second round, Kape felt even more confident and it showed in his performance as it was one of his best under the UFC banner.
Despite this, he was stopped in the second round after landing three terrible low blows, resulting in a points deduction for Silva, making the mountain even bigger for him to climb.
During the break between the second and third rounds, 'Starboy' decided to have an impromptu conversation with UFC CEO Dana White as he began demanding a flyweight title from the UFC boss.
His calls for a title shot gained further momentum after he finally scored the finish over Silva in round three following a barrage of heavy strikes as the Brazilian cowered against the cage.
Manel Kape doubles down on title challenge as he defeats several fighters
Immediately after scoring the KO win, Kape ran right back to White and started having a conversation with him again.
The 31-year-old could be heard telling the UFC boss that he “needs a title shot” and that he never asks for anything.
Flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja successfully defended his title against Kai Asakura earlier this month, and he appears to be running out of fighters to defend his title against. Pantoja and Kape have met once before, in Kape's UFC debut in 2021, with Pantoja picking up a decision win.
Despite this, all signs point to 'The Cannibal' defending his title against Kai Kara-France, something that doesn't sit well with Kape.
“F*ck Kai Kara-France, f*ck (Brandon) Moreno, f*ck (Israel) Adesanya, I'm next against Pantoja, there are levels to this sh*t,” Kape said in his Octagon interview .
“I can destroy Pantoja, so Dana, put me in the fight against Pantoja because I'm the PPV star at flyweight, no one can be like me, no one dresses like me, no one is (more) beautiful than me, I am perfect,” he continued.
