Manon Fiorot suffered her one and only loss to a Bellator star on her pro debut before winning 12 in a row

The UFC returns to Montreal this Saturday, where Manon Fiorot finally gets her chance to challenge the flight weight title.

In the Co-Main event of the evening, before Belal Muhammad's Headlining-Tights, Fiorot will look to only become the third woman to beat Valentina Shevchenko in the Octagon.

The striking specialist has emerged as one of the best contenders with 125 pounds, but her win racing was not enough to interrupt the trilogy of fights between the current champion and Alexa Grasso.

Shevchenko is already a legend of the sport, but this will not intimidate the self -assured challenger who has overcome every test that the UFC has taken for her.

In her professional career, Fiorot only tasted a defeat and it happened to be completely back in 2018 in her pro debut.

Manon Fiorot lost her pro debut to Leah McCourt at Cage Warriors 94 in 2018

Manon Fiorot has already achieved a lot in striking sports such as a black belt in Karate and received success as an amateur hunter by winning the Imaaf world championships (International Mixed Martial Arts Federation) in 2017.

The French hunter moved to the pro -side of the sport the following year, where she walked for the first time in the European promotion -cage Warriors.

At Cage Warriors 94 in Antwerp, Belgium, she stood opposite Leah McCourt in Northern Ireland, who was 0-1 at the time in her professional career and was also a much-praised amateur.

After a back and forth fight, McCourt came overright through a split decision before she started signing with Bellator where she fought 10 times.

The 32-year-old last participated last September in the main event of the Bellator Champions Series Card in London, where she was confronted with Sara Collins.

Despite her loss, Cris Cyborg called the McCourt -Matchup as something that still interests her in an interview with Bloody Elbow.

As far as fiorot is concerned, she would then fight and wins win in EFC and the VAE Warriors before she signed at the UFC in 2021, where she won seven in a row to solidify her status as the best competition.

Manon Fiorot will have to answer a number of big questions to ask part of her own

It is no secret what Manon Fiorot's biggest challenges will be in the Co-Main event of UFC 315.

Valentina Shevchenko has much more experience at the highest level and although 'Bullet' is also a great striker, her wrestling apparently would be her biggest advantage in this fight.

Fiorot, who has a very high Takedown defense of 93% on UFC statistics, was able to cross another highest grappler in Blanchfield in it, but Shevchenko is much more dynamic in it.

If the challenger can leave the fight, where she has landed almost double the amount of strikes per minute compared to her opponent, things can become very interesting in Montreal.
