Marcus Rashford has already approved Man Utd team-mate Garnacho’s next club

Alejandro Garnacho is one of the four Manchester United players who have been told to find new clubs and the Argentinian is linked to a move to Aston Villa – a club where Marcus Rashford had success in loan

Marcus Rashford may have already endorsed the next club of Alejandro Garnacho after he sang the praise of Aston Villa last season after the end of his loan saying.

Rashford excelled for Villa on loan from Manchester United for the second half of the 2024-25 campaign when he scored four goals and registered five assists.

The English star became a first team of ordinary lower boss Unai Emery and played in the Champions League for the Midlands Club, but was forced to briefly get his enchantment after an injury during their FA Cup semi -final defeat against Manchester City.

Villa did not finally decide to take their £ 40 million option to permanently sign Rashford and he has since returned to United to train from the first team team – who are part of four players told to find new clubs.

One of those players is Garnacho, who – just like Rashford – ended last season with manager Ruben Amorim.

Garnacho was irritated when Amorim dropped him for the last defeat of the Europa League against Tottenham and suggested that he could leave this summer.

And according to the Daily Mail, Villa is now interested in Garnacho to Villa Park as a replacement for Rashford – although Chelsea and Tottenham are also enthusiastic.

When Rashford left Villa, he was lyrical about the support the club had given him, which seems to be a solid approval for his teammate Garnacho to follow in his footsteps.

Writing on Instagram After the end of his loan agreement in May, he wrote: “Just a message of thanks to everyone here at Villa for what (aside of the injury) an incredible few months has been for me.

“It is a really special club and I appreciated the way in which Villa fans embraced me on the field from the first minute with open arms on the field. Manager, team and coaching staff have all been brilliant.

“I know it is a huge disappointment not to have made the Champions League spot that everyone worked so hard for the entire season, but I know that this club and the team are coming back stronger.”

Garnacho has played 144 times for United since he came through the youth system in 2021 – scored 26 goals at the time.

Despite his struggles last season when United finished 15th, Garnacho actually enjoyed his best campaign from a personal point of view, because he scored 11 goals and helped another ten.
