During the winter transfer window, Barcelona tried to sign Marcus Rashford, but a deal with Manchester United was eventually excluded for financial reasons. Eventually the English attacker joined the fellow Premier League side Aston Villa on loan for the rest of the season.
Rashford had held a move to Catalonia and in the trial he had reduced the progress of AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund. He could not get his dream movement, so he had to settle for the exchange of Man United for Aston Villa until the summer.
The situation of Rashford is probably the subject of more speculation during the summer transfer window, provided that Aston Villa does not activate the purchase option in their agreement with Man United. At the moment, Barcelona could choose to re -activate their interest, especially since Sporting Director Deco wants a new left wing to be signed.
