Marcus Rashford REJECTS three offers worth £35m-a-year as Man Utd push for exit

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has turned down three mega-money offers from Saudi Arabia, it is claimed.

England international Rashford has been tipped to leave Old Trafford after a difficult time under Erik ten Hag and Ruben Amorim this season. However, his next destination remains unclear.

“For me personally, I think I'm ready for a new challenge and the next steps,” Rashford said shortly before Christmas. “If I leave, there won't be any hard feelings. You won't get any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That's me as a person.”

“If I know a situation is already bad, I'm not going to make it worse. I've seen other players leave in the past and I don't want to be that person. If I leave, I will make sure an explanation and it will be mine.”

According to The Mail, offers worth up to £35 million a year have been put on the table. However, no deal has been agreed as Rashford only wants to move to a 'competitive' league.

The amounts being touted are said to be smaller than what the 27-year-old currently earns at Old Trafford. However, he is reportedly unwilling to accept offers from Saudi Arabia or Turkey.

It has been suggested that Rashford is considering his future in England when it comes to deciding his next steps. He was left out of the Euro 2024 squad and has not featured for the Three Lions since March.

Rashford scored the first goal of the Ruben Amorim era, scoring inside two minutes in a 1-1 draw at Ipswich. Lately, however, he has not been part of the head coach's plans.

The attacker was excluded from several match selections by the former Sporting boss. He returned to the bench for United's most recent match, against Newcastle, but did not appear on the pitch after the 2–0 defeat.

“I think about the team,” Amorim said after goals from Alexander Isak and Joelinton earned Eddie Howe's team victory. “You think about Marcus a lot. I think about the team. When I'm there, I don't make a point. I just want to win the game.”

“And you feel that. I'm talking about the idea and the battle for relegation. Do I want to make a point during a match? No, I just want to win the match.”
