Marcus Rashford sets sight on next move after making £40m transfer decision

Marcus Rashford got a huge blow this weekend after picking up a hamstring problem that ended his season after he had impressed loan – and now he returns to Manchester United for medical checks

Marcus Rashford is willing to make a wage reduction to seal a dream movement to Barcelona and to draw a line under his Manchester United career. Rashford is supposed to have put his heart to join the Spanish giants Barca, knowing that he has no chance of playing for United again, while Ruben Amorim is in charge.

He was omitted from the team for United's 2-1 victory at local Rivals Manchester City in December, which led to his January exit on loan to Villa. England Forward Rashford followed Villa in January in January to fall from Amorim and drank there with four goals and six assists, although he is currently injured. He will miss Villa's Premier League matches against Fulham, Bournemouth and Tottenham.

Even if Rashford recovered on time of the injury for Villa's last match of the season, he is not eligible to play under the conditions of his loan agreement, such as against United. Medical teams from United and Villa are currently maintained on the degree of injury of Rashford and the expected recovery time.

As soon as that is clear, United will hold conversations with Villa about Rashford, although the 26-year-old is not ready to return to his parent club to undergo his rehabilitation.

Villa has an option to buy Rashford for £ 40 million when his loan agreement ends, but he does not want to come to them and prefer a move abroad – with Barca his number 1 choice

Rashford's exorbitant wages of £ 350,000 a week will certainly prove a stumbling block for clubs that are interested in signing it, so he is willing to make a wage reduction to protect a move.

Another option, although one of the two parties eventually wants to be that Rashford will spend on loan at another club next season, possibly Barca, with United who contributes to his wages.

But United wants to sell Rashford this summer to raise money to rebuild Amorim's team and also to get one of their highest earners of the wage account.

The Rashford representatives have indicated that they will sit with United in the coming weeks to discuss the future of the attacker and hopefully agree with the agreement for his next step.

From more direct care for Rashford is a complete recovery to ensure that he is suitable for the coming matches of England in June, after he was recalled to the international setup by three Lions boss Thomas Tuchel.
