Enzo Maresca said that Cole Palmer will have a scan on a muscular issue on Monday and it is unlikely that it will participate in the English team.
Palmer sustained the injury in the training on Saturday and then missed the 1-0 defeat of the blues against Arsenal on Sunday. It was the first time that Chelsea played without him since he lost 5-0 to the Gunners in April last season.
The 22-year-old will also miss the world cup qualifications of England against Albania and Latvia this month, because this week this week was recorded in the first team of Thomas Tuchel as a manager.
Maresca said: 'I don't think (Palmer will be available to England) to be honest because his injury came from yesterday's session (Saturday). It is a muscular problem.
“He needs a scan and this is planned for Monday.”
The West -London club is now sweating about whether their star man, who has scored 14 goals and this season has delivered six assists in the Premier League, will return to Tottenham after the international break.
When asked if Palmer could do this, Maresca replied: “I hope so, but we have to wait for the scan.”
The Italian also acknowledged that his side is struggling for goals without Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke, who can both be back to Spurs.
“It's a huge difference,” he added.
'If you think the three players with the most goals for us, there was not one of them in the field today. It is normal for us to be able to struggle a bit offensive. '
In the meantime, Mikel Arteta Chelsea praised the 'best attacking team in the competition'.
The bizarre claim came after the Gunners had overcome the West-London club via a first half Mikino-Header-Hun first goal from a corner since he defeated Spurs on January 15. It ended a point of three games without a victory in the competition.
Arteta said: 'In open game, yes (they are). With a mile. I mean, the statistics say it and everything I've seen says it.
'They can open you, they can work in transition, they have individual quality. You can throw every player in the line of defense behind it, they can combine on both sides, on weaknesses and they also miss a number of major players at the moment.
“It's my opinion. I have a lot of data, (that is) objectively, as well as what I have seen in the games they play. I may be wrong, I don't know. '
