Enzo Maresca insists that winning the Conference League trophy this season would be a 'explanation' that says that 'Chelsea is back' because they offer to complete the clean sweeping of European silverware.
The blues will be confronted on Thursday with the Swedish side Djurgarden in their semi-final second stage with a 4-1 lead of the first stage in Stockholm. With the collision on Thursday evening, it is expected that Real Betis of Fiorentina will wait in the final of 28 May in Wroclaw, Poland.
Although the fan base may be more used to winning in the Champions League and Europa League, Maresca is not to sniff the possibility of collecting a trophy this month.
“Important, because we would be the only club in Europe (to have won every competition they participated),” said Maresca. 'It is important to build a winning mentality with this club.
“For me, winning a Conference League trophy is a statement this season in which you can say:” Chelsea is back “because you win a trophy.

Although Maresca wants to treat this competition with respect, he hopes that Chelsea does not have to mention itself conference compliclubs from next season and for the foreseeable.
“We have to try to win this competition,” said Maresca. “Hopefully we can be in different competitions in the future, but at the moment the reality is reality.”
