Enzo Maresca has opened the future of Jadon Sancho in Chelsea in the midst of claiming that the club wants to pay their way out of their obligatory clause to buy it.
The move from Sancho to Stamford Bridge included an obligation for Chelsea to buy it at the end of the season when they end up 14th or higher in the Premier League.
The reimbursement will be between £ 22-25 million, depending on the blues end position in the table – with the side of Enzo Maresca are currently in fourth place.
However, as Mail Sport reported earlier this month, there is still a possibility that Sancho could end this summer in Old Trafford if Chelsea decides not to go through the deal.
Now Maresca has opened the issue prior to the collision from his side against Tottenham on Thursday. He said: 'I love all the players who are part of this team.
'Full focus is now to end well and not to think about next season. What happens in the summer, we will see. I am happy with all the players we have '.
Sancho's last start for the blues came in mid-March, where he made an overwhelming performance in the 1-0 defeat of Arsenal on his side.
In total, the former Borussia Dortmund star has registered two goals and five assists of 23 performances for the blues.
However, three of these assists came in a blue shirt in his first three games, which means that he has managed only one in the competition since the end of September.
Sancho went 13 games without a target contribution and another 19 without finding the back of the net.
Chelsea will have to pay United £ 5 million in compensation if they decide not to make the Sancho loan permanent this summer, according to a report.
United signed Sancho for £ 72.9 million from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2021, with his contract that will expire next summer.
In the meantime, Maresca also confirmed that Chelsea has received a triple injury boost for their collision against Tottenham.
He explained: 'Cole [Palmer] is back. He's okay. Noni Madueke is better. And Nico Jackson is better. They are all good. '
England Palmer has been sidelined since the middle of the month and was excluded just before their journey to Arsenal.
His return will be welcomed by Maresca with his 14 goals and six assists in all competitions that are vital this year in the success of Chelsea.
Madueke and Jackson have both been out since February and will be a welcome return for the blues in the midst of their recent struggles.
