The influencer wife of Paris Saint -Germain star Marquinhos has revealed that she has lost their unborn child -and has opened up to fans about her grief in an emotional video.
Brave Carol Cabrino fought back tears when she told her Instagram followers that her baby had “become an angel”.
Carol was thousands of kilometers away from her husband, who was international duty with Brazil, when she had to break the painful news to him.
The mother of three, whose other children Maria Eduarda, seven, Enrico, five and Marina are, said last night last night while she made her heartbreaking revelation: 'I'm going to talk about something that is not very good.
“But I accepted what happened to me and I came to share it with you.
“I can't go on with my life if I don't get here and you explain a little about the things that have happened in my life for a while.”
She told her crying so much, but insisted that it was all part of the process, she continued: 'A while ago I learned the great news that I was pregnant from my fourth child.
“I really like that news to my family, my husband and my other children because it was something I had tried for a while.”
Carol, 31, said during her long video post that the first tests she did during a trip to Brazil went well.
But a second test round in France, where she expected that she heard the heartbeat of her unborn child, showed that there was none and she got the terrible news that the pregnancy had not expired as expected.
She said: 'I woke up happily because it was the day that I was going to listen to my heart. And I got there and there was no heartbeat and the baby did not move.
“Anyway, the pregnancy did not progress. My dream, the fourth baby, had not succeeded at that time. And my baby had become a little angel.”
Carol was only in France when she decided to share her sad news with her Instagram followers because her husband in South America was in international duty with Brazil.
She further explained how doctors had to remove the fetus and said that she was resting at home and added: “It is a period of sorrow that I am going through, I had to break the news to my husband. He is not here.
“Now I am recovering, I still have a belly. Everything is happening very quickly, the belly is fast forward, it is already dilated and now I try to restore my psychological state that is a bit shaken.”
Fans immediately gathered to offer their support to Carol, who started dating Marquinhos after they were discovered in 2014 in a Brazilian reality -TV show and his branched of social media to become a designer of baby clothing.

“I want to believe that there is a reason for everything that happens. God makes no mistakes and everything he allows will be revealed at the right time.
“Remember that God acts with perfection in his infinite wisdom. What the end sometimes seems is part of a larger plan.”
Marquinhos, considered one of the best center-backs in the world, is supposed to be about to go to Argentina when he heard that his wife had lost their unborn child.
Brazil was beaten 4-1 in their world cup qualification against the ruling champions.
The 30-year-old from Sao Paulo reportedly found Carol on Facebook and sent her before she started dating after she made a name for himself on Brazilian TV.
In March 2021, the Marquinhos family house in France was broken into by robbers while playing for his club side.
The suspects reportedly attacked the family members of the football player before they left with cash and designer handbags.
The father of the defender, Marcos Barros Correa, is said to have been beaten by the invaders in the face, chest and ribs.
The thieves – who thought the building was the personal home of Marquinhos – also threatened his two younger sisters, then 14 and 16 years old.
