Nicolò Fagioli, 23, could be ready for a move to Ligue 1 in January, with arch-rivals Olympique de Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain both vying for the signature, according to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Fagioli was touted as a potential makeweight in the deal that could see Milan Skrianiar, out of favor at PSG, move to Juventus. However, this rumor was shut down by Fabrizio Romano. The journalist reported at the time that the Serie A team had no intention of releasing the midfielder, but because Fagioli was not often used at club level, he could now leave, La Gazzetta dello Sport understands.
If he were to leave, he would have no shortage of suitors. Marseille are particularly enthusiastic about Roberto De Zerbi, a big admirer of the midfielder, while the link with a move to PSG also emerges again in the latest report from La Gazzetta dello Sport. However, there is also interest from the Premier League, with Juventus valuing the Italian midfielder at between 25 and 30 million euros.
