Marseille enquire about Marcus Rashford and Chelsea target Mathys Tel

Marseille have made inquiries for Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford (27) and Bayern Munich striker Mathys Tel (19), according to a report from L'Equipe. Roberto De Zerbi-led Ligue 1 is expected to take a dip in the striker market as Elye Wahi closes in on a move to Bundesliga team Eintracht Frankfurt. Talks with Dino Toppmöller's side are reportedly well advanced, with Wahi identified as the ideal replacement for Omar Marmoush, who is leaving for Manchester City.

Currently, Marseille can only count on one senior centre-forward in Neal Maupay. Les Phocéens and their sporting director Medhi Benatia have made inquiries about Tel, who is a long-term target for Chelsea FC. The Rennes Academy target is linked to Bayern due to a contract that expires in 2029. L'Equipe understands that the French striker should have more minutes in the second half of the season.

Marseille have reportedly shown an interest in Rashford. The England international appears to no longer be part of Ruben Amorim's plans and is expected to leave the Red Devils, where he is under contract until 2028. Marseille are considering a loan deal for Tel or Rashford.
