Former UFC Middleweight Title Challenger Marvin Vettori does not want to waste time to decline with Roman Dolidze.
Marvin Vettori and Roman Dolidze put a candidate for 'Fight of the Year' on UFC Vegas 104 on the Apex on Saturday. It was an exciting game from start to finish between two of the top middle weights in the world.
After five rounds, Dolidze squeaked a unanimous decision victory on Vettori to take his revenge after their first collision at UFC 286. Vettori won the previous collision through a unanimous decision in the three-rounder.
Vettori expressed a bleak tone in his first public comments after UFC Vegas 104, and shared disappointment and heartache in a recent Instagram post. But hours later, Vettori hit a different tone when he looked ahead what his next UFC booking could be.

Marvin Vettori vs. Roman Dolidze 3?
In a recent message to X, Vettori called it back with Dolidze while he hit a humorous tone with his social media.
“I think it is [we’ll] Need a trilogy, 'Vettori posted Sunday. “The most nonsense trilogy I agree with you B—— LOL. But at the moment it has to happen. '
For the first time since a unanimous decision loss for Jared Cannonier in June 2023, Vettori returned to the Octagon at UFC Vegas 104. He lost three of his last four fights in general, with his victory over Dolidze the only victory during the current piece.
In the meantime, Dolidze continued his rise of the middleweight ranks after beating Kevin Holland through the first round at the UFC 307. He won three consecutive fights after he had back-to-back defeats on Vettori and Nassourdine Imavov.
Roman Dolidze shouted the former rivals of Marvin Vettori na UFC Vegas 104
After opening Vettori on UFC Vegas 104, Dolidze Israel Adesanya and Robert Whittaker shouted as part of his two-man hit list. Although Adesanya has not responded from this letter, Whittaker replied to Dolidze with a negative approach.
Adesanya has lost three consecutive fights, including a recent TKO loss for Imavov in February. Although he has repeatedly plagued a potential pension, he seems to be on his way to the Octagon later this year to try to return to the profit column.
Whittaker has not fought in October since a loss of the submission of the first round to Khamzat Chimaev on UFC 308. The former title holder deserved victories over people like Vettori and Ikram Aliskerov for the Chimaev fight.
Dolidze and Vettori may be able to meet along the line for the third time, although the UFC matchmakers rarely book immediate trilogies. In the meantime, Vettori and Dolidze are still competing for title conflicts and an opportunity to disturb the middleweight elite.
