Jean-Philippe Mateta broke his silence after horror FA Cup injury.
The Crystal Palace Hitman was taken to the hospital after he was polished in the first half of the fifth round victory of the eagle at Millwall.
Mateta was on the receiving side of a Kung-Fu Kick of a challenge from Lions Stopper Liam Roberts, who was given late, received a red card.
The Frenchman was left bloody and was treated for ten minutes before being taken to the hospital.
He wrote about his Instagram story: “Thanks for all your friendly messages.
“I am doing well.
“I hope to be back soon and stronger than ever.
'Well done, guys, for the great work today. I love you. Jp. '
Palace boss Oliver Glasner missed Roberts' horrible attempt to a challenge, but became sick after seeing the repetition.
He said: “I couldn't see it live. I didn't want to see it after the game.
“I don't want to see the injury. I watched it because I knew I had to talk about it.
“It was a very serious false game. It is hard to see. I don't want to see it again.
“Imagine it could have ended his career.”
Glasner does not wear bad will towards Roberts and added: “He didn't want to make such a challenge, but his decision to make the challenge was wrong.
“I believe in Fair Play and all athletes don't want to injure another. His decision with his foot with this intensity was wrong.”
Palace chairman and co-owner Simon Parish, however, was not that sympathetic for the 30-year-old keeper.
He said: “” In the whole time I watched football, I have never seen a challenge.
“I looked to see how old the keeper is, he is 30 years old.
“That is the most reckless challenge for a football field that I think I have ever seen.
“And he must have a long, hard look in himself that boy.
“Because he endangers a colleague professional, perhaps even his life, with such a challenge.”
“It is very difficult for me to talk about the rest of the game because we are worried about JP in the hospital. It is just a terrible, terrible challenge.
“That keeper has not shown a duty of care to another professional.
“Someone said there was one in the 1982 World Cup like this.
“But it's a terrible challenge and why the referee should be on the screen, I have no idea.
“Forget that he is a football player, he is a human. That is not a normal challenge.
“If you kick someone in the head with the full power, God knows what damage was caused to him.”
Palace achieved their place in the quarterfinals thanks to its own goal from Japhet Tanganga and goals by Daniel Munoz and Eddie Nketiah.
