The departure from Kingsley Coman to the desert to become a member of CR7's Club Al-Nassr is imminent. For this reason, FC Bayern and Max Eberl are already looking for a suitable replacement.
An option would be to find a player who could replace the Coman one-on-one on the wing. In this case, 20-year-old Malick Fofana from Olympique Lyon would be an interesting prospect. The Belgian international has a contract with the traditional French club until 2028.
However, it is also conceivable that Bayern could strengthen their attack without signing a direct COMAN successor on the wing. This leaves the issue of Stuttgart striker Nick Woltemade open.
Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea and Xavi from RB Leipzig are also in the sights of the German record champions. Both are connected to FC Bayern in the recent and more recent past respectively.
According to Sky Sport information, the club, based in Munich recently inquired about Jackson at Chelsea. The Senegalese striker is still available – contract until 2033.
Xavi has long been considered an option as the desired transfer of Bayern Munich by Florian Wirtz did not come out. The latter eventually moved to Liverpool and the Leipzig Pelenmaker was mainly praised by Premier League clubs.
Could something happen to Bayern now? FCB boss Eberl has the 22-year-old Dutchman of his time at RB Leipzig. As a sports director at the time he attracted Xavi to Leipzig. The competent technician still has a contract with the “Red Bulls” until 2027.
Bayern remains interested in Nunku
In addition to the names mentioned, Christopher Nunku is also one of the candidates for a COMAN replacement. Chelsea is still planning to sell the French striker this summer. The blues do not consider a loan.
RB Leipzig, where Nunku moved to London for € 60 million in the summer of 2023, also monitors the situation. What the Saxony has certainly excluded is a direct swap from Nunku for Xavi or a permanent purchase.
FC Bayern remains interested in the 27-year-old striker. The conversations around Nunku are led by star agent Pini Zahavi, who also represents former FCB star Leroy Sane and New Munich who, among other things, sign Jonathan Tah.
