Max Holloway is no stranger to terminate incredible careers prior to UFC 318.
For many fans, the road went to July 19 about celebrating the remarkable series Dustin Poirier while he prepares to walk the last time.
Although some concern has been expressed about Poirier's mentality before fighting for his home fans in Louisiana, that will not be worried about Max Holloway.
Holloway stopped the last time, will want to rebound, even if it means that he refuses an opponent for whom he has a lot of respect with his fairy tale.
This is not even the only time that 'blessed' has been in this position and on that occasion he produced one of his most remarkable finishes.

Max Holloway ended the career of the Korean zombie with one blow in Singapore
In August 2023, Max Holloway would include his last victory in the featherweight division of the UFC before he committed himself to fighting at lightweight.
After beating Arnold all earlier in the year to bounce back from his third loss to Alexander Volkanovski, 'blessed' looked at back-to-back victories by taking a legend of the sport.
Chan Sung Jung, also known as 'The Korean Zombie', looked to set up a last last show for his fans when he was confronted against Holloway in the main event of the Card of the UFC in Singapore.
Zombie could easily have run away after his decisive loss for Volkanovski the year before, but against Holloway there was another chance to go at the top.
Unfortunately it did not go as the 25-Fight veteran had wanted.
On trademark fashion, Zombie pushed forward with reckless surrender in the third round while he looked to use everything he had to change the tide.
Holloway reacted with a huge counter right hand who had his opponent with his opponent, which led to one of the most emotional UFC retirement in a time after the zombie had put the gloves.
Although he never won a UFC title, the South Korean icon had a remarkable career, which even submitted Dustin Poirier when they met in May 2012.
Max Holloway and the Korean zombie have performed a great relationship after their fight
Just like what fans can expect, regardless of the main event of UFC 318, there was a lot of mutual respect between Max Holloway and 'The Korean Zombie'.
In fact, a few months ago, 'blessed' made a trip to South Korea to spend some time with his former opponent.
Together with a few sparring rounds, they tasted the local cuisine before Holloway's wife finally let both men be amazed by beating their high scores on a punching bag Arcade match.
Given their earlier interactions after the octagon shared twice, Holloway and Poirier will certainly have a special bond with each other once everything is said and done on July 19.
