“Maybe one day” – Serie A starlet hints at possible Real Madrid move

Real Madrid keeps an eye on a number of players throughout Europe and South America, and among them is Nico Paz. The 20-year-old was sold to Como last summer, and given that he has been very impressed since he has taken that step, there is every chance that he will be brought back to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Paz will not do this this summer, because the back-back option of Real Madrid before 2025 has already expired. But they could activate it at the start of the following summer if it is available for just € 9 million.

According to Diario AS, Paz is now open for his future, and he refused to close the door with a return to Real Madrid.

“You never know, one day I will come back to Real Madrid. I am focused on como, that is where I belong. I am very happy and excited. I have no idea what the future has in store for me, I don't even know what I will do tomorrow.

Paz also spoke about his decision to represent Argentina at an international level, after he had decided not to opt for Spain – the land of his birth.

“I have made a good decision and I am happy. The national team encourages me, takes care of me, advises me and supports me in everything. The truth is that I am very happy to be part of the Argentinian national team. It is a great pride.”

Paz was also asked to call the best moment (s) of his career so far, and one of them was in the first team of Real Madrid during his short time.

“I would say that they were my goal in the Champions League with Real Madrid against Napoli … It was an incredible moment, something I had dreamed of since I arrived at the club. And then my debut at the Argentinian national team. Not only because of my debut, but also because of Messi, he was a very friendly person.
