Mbappe has found his rhythm at Madrid – Ancelotti

Carlo Ancelotti is confident that Kylian Mbappé is now completely on the right track after a difficult start at Real Madrid.

Mbappe scored his first hat trick for Madrid during Saturday's 3-0 win on Real Valladolid.

Because of that victory, Madrid extended his lead on top of Laliga to four points.

Since the beginning of December, Mbappé has been involved with thirteen Laliga goals and Ancelotti has been sure that the former star of Paris Saint-Germain is at its best again.

“Mbappé brings a lot for the team. He has been in rhythm for a few months and scored a hat trick for us for the first time,” said Ancelotti.

“That is of course a plus for our team, he is a great quality player.

“Little by little we got into a good rhythm, we got a good dynamic and that is great to see.

“As I said, we are improving the aspects that undermined us in previous competitions. And we have to continue while we try to improve and correct some of the problems we still have.”

Although Madrid is at the top, Ancelotti warned that there is still a long way to go now Los Blancos want to defend their crown.

“We have to keep a little balance and not anticipate things,” the Italian added.

“It is true that we have done well in the competition lately, we have a good lead at the top, but it is still too early to think that it is over.

“We have a small hole and hopefully we can make the best of it in the coming games.”
