Kylian Mbappé returns to the French team while Désiré Doué earned the first senior call-up
France national team boss Didier Deschamps unveiled his team this Thursday afternoon for the quarterfinals of Les Bleus' Nations League against Croatia. Kylian Mbappé is back in the French team after Deschamps has chosen not not to call him for the international break of November. The Real Madrid striker also missed the October competitions with France, presumably due to injury, although Mbappé could be seen just before the international break for his new club.
Now that Mbappé has fully recovered his level after a turbulent start of his new Madrid life, he is expected to retain the bracelet of the skipper. Mbappé's Real Madrid teammate Aurélien Tchouaméni is also back to the France team, at the expense of the midfielder of Al-Eittihad N'Golo Kanté. Deschamps has chosen to give PSG-Vleugel player Désiré Doué (19) a first senior France call-up after a series of striking versions with Luis Enrique's Les Parisiens.
Chelsea Center-Back Wesley Fofana-Die Net has returned from injuries-has missed the Deschamps who handed inter Milan Centrum Benjamin Pavard a recall. Premier League faithful Ibrahima Konaté and William Saliba have made the cut. France has reached the Nations League A2 group and will be confronted with Croatia in the quarterfinals. The first stage is played in the Poljud stadium of Split on Thursday 20 March. The return bone will be played the following Sunday in Saint-Denis' Stade de France.
