Manchester United is struggling with Brentford for Bryan Mbeumo and the player is frustrated by the time it takes to complete the transfer
Bryan Mbeumo is “very frustrated” through the time that Manchester United takes a deal with Brentford – who will bury their heels when it comes to the player's price.
The Red Devils have already seen two bids for the attacker with the bees who want more than £ 60 million before they consider cashing in. Mbeumo has just scored in the Premier League 20 times and could therefore land a blockbuster movement.
Those in Manchester have not yet returned with a third bid and the Transfersaga threatens to drag on, which does not suit a party. Ruben Amorim has identified Mbeumo as the type of player who can greatly improve the forward line of the club.
Matheus Cunha is currently the only man who goes to Old Trafford this summer, leaving Wolves behind when his release clause was reached. And Cameroon no. 2, Ashu Cyprianus Besong, has known that Mbeumo is mainly frustrated by how long the Saga starts dragging on while he wants to find a resolution about his future.
Besong said to Telecom Asia: “Yes, he is clearly very frustrated about how long it has been taken. But he is a professional and anticipates these things. I spoke to him a week ago and he is very calm with everything that is going on.
“But of course he has already told that he wants to go to United. He just wanted the two clubs to find an agreement because he is very grateful for the opportunity he received in his career by Brentford.”
Mbeumo is to improve his wages enormously if he moved to United, which would pay him more than £ 200,000 a week. Personal conditions will not be a problem and it is now at the two clubs that agree with a fee. Brentford has previously sold their top talent, but only for the right price, and their director of Voetbal Phil Giles insists that Mbeumo will remain in the club if their appreciation is not paid.
“He had a fantastic season,” Giles said recently. “We were expecting great interest in him, we were very interested in him. He has his ideas about where he wants to take his career. He is good within his rights to do that. It is not impossible that next season he is still a Brentford player if we agree that he will remain.”
Giles also claimed that Mbeumo would only be sold if it was “the right deal” for Brentford. He claimed: “Every club will tell you that. If it is not good deal, why would we do it?”
