Welcome to the Radar, a Sky Sports column in which Nick Wright uses a mix of data and opinion to shed light on need-to-know stories from up and down the Premier League. This week:

๐Ÿ”ด mbeumo's running power๐Ÿ”„ O'RiLey to replace Joao Pedro? ๐Ÿ” A player to view this weekend

Mbeumo's immediate impact

Manchester United is opposed to Fulham on Super Sunday in the hope of building on the positives of their scary loss to Arsenal. The performance of Bryan Mbeumo was one of them. His debut, after a strong preseason, underlined his potential to transform their attack.

It could be seen in his very first actions of the game.

Within the opening minute, Mbeumo checked a loop statement in its own half and Manchester United Die deep in Arsenal Territory during the break. Shortly thereafter he kept a Bruno Fernandes through the Ball and tested David Raya.

Manchester United eventually dominated the possession against one of the top teams of the Premier League for the first time in a decade. However, it was when they attack quickly and immediately that they looked the most dangerous. Matheus Cunha helped Mbeumo was the key.

Last season Manchester United directed a much higher percentage of attacks on the left than right, but the emphasis completely switched against Arsenal when they searched Mbeumo on every occasion. The former wing player of Brentford is now their outlet.

He ended the game with more photos than any other player. He ranked TOP for accents in the opposition box and also dribbles. But it is his movement that makes it all possible.

Mbeumo made more attacking runs last season than anyone else in the division in Brentford and he took the same place in the ranking in the opening weekend of the new campaign.

The 26-year-old has given Manchester United a new level of current power. His total of 30 attacking points in his very first performance for the club was only improved five times by Manchester United players in the entire season in the Premier League.

Since his appointment last year, Ruben Amorim said that he wants his side to have more possession and therefore more control. But increasing their threat on the countertop and for transitions is also considered crucial. It is already clear that Mbeumo makes it possible.

Against Arsenal, Manchester United has a total of four direct attacks and three fast breaks, a combined total that was only defeated by Liverpool and Bournemouth during the opening weekend and a significant increase in the averages on the side under Amorim last season.

The problem was of course that they couldn't let them count. The next challenge is to find a ruthless edge, starting at Craven Cottage. But the impact of Mbeumo is clear, even after one match. Manchester United has made a glimpse of what they can become.

O'RILEY can fill Joao Pedro

Matt O'Riley took the tasks of the fine last weekend for Brighton against Fulham after the departure of Joao Pedro to Chelsea. Plays in the No. 10 role that was abandoned by the Brazilian, he also offered a similar level of off-the-ball industry.

His total of 66 edition in the 1-1 draw with the side of Marco Silva was the eighth highest among Premier League players during the opening weekend. It is crucial that O'RiLey offered both quality and quantity. No player was more busy and led to sales. His industry helped to create opportunities for Brighton to hurt Fulham.

Fabio Hurzeler then praised his all -round contribution. “He does a lot of work out of possession, so we are not just happy to have him because of the goal,” he said. Brighton's boss will hope for him against Everton on Super Sunday.

Injuries made it difficult for O'RiLey to show those physical qualities, something like he had been in his first season in Brighton after his ยฃ 25 million from Celtic last year. He was limited to only 11 starts in the Premier League.

But despite the interest of the Italian clubs Napoli, Atalanta and Roma this summer, early evidence suggests this season that the club would be wise to hold on to life without his former teammate, both of the ball and on it.
