Nepotism in football can only bring you so far.
A famous last name or parents who have reached enormously can give you a place in an academy, but without talent there is no chance to reach the heights of the game.
However, Chelsea currently has three players in the books in Cobham who both have enormous reputations to live up to, and also the talent to cut their own names in Stamford Bridge -Folklore.
The question is, with the amount of talent that Chelsea already has and continues to buy in abundance, can these three young stars escape from the shadows of their fathers and thrive on the biggest stage?
Isago da Silva
The son of Chelsea Great Thiago Silva, Isago, joined Cobham's setup when his father moved from PSG.
Just like his father in his younger years, Isago is something of a quiet student and teaches his profession as a central defender with one of the best to ever do it as his idol.
However, let it not be twisted, he may be calm, but he is also a leader in a young group, composed under pressure and tactically sharp.
The 16-year-old is already at 5ft10 and is able to play both LEFTACKS and the center of defense, admired the kind of versatility by Enzo Maresca and shown by Jorrel Hato's recruitment by the club.
An important player in Chelsea's Under-15 Premier League Floodlit Cup Triumph, ISAGO also made his debut for the U18 side last season, and did not look a little misplaced against players who are older than him.
He undoubtedly has the biggest shoes to fill the three, and probably most hype around his name, but if he even becomes half the defender his father, it will be fine.
Landon Elenalo
Former Chelsea Technical Director Michael Elenalo's Son Landon is the first of the three famous children to perform in a senior matchday team, making the bank in the Conference League against Legia Warsaw.
The young person in England was already part of the arrangement of the Blues' U21 and signed his first professional contract in January.
Again, versatility is a word that stands out in profiling Eenalo, because he is able to play as a left -sided middle behind and in midfield.
A truly brilliant passer of the ball and a midfielder who is technically gifted with the possibility of easily sliding by opponents – Landon Eenalo is one to pay attention to the future.
He is almost certainly one to pay attention to if Chelsea gets a generous FA Cup of Carabao Cup trek against lower-ranked opposition, because the lack of Conference League Football may be more difficult to find this season.
Mathis Eboue
His father Emmanuel is considered a cult hero in North Londs, but Mathis Eboue is a blue while his father was a red contrast almost as grim as their playing styles.
In December last year, Chelsea completed a deal to sign the highly valued 16-year-old, before signing a stock market contract with The Blues in July alongside fellow star Ibrahim Rabbaj, both with a cool few shades.
While his father was a right back, Mathis Eboue is progressive and can work on a wing or in the number ten roll, which likes to wear the ball sharply before he hit the ball with both feet.
His dribbling power and technical skills may be where he shines the most, with a series of skills and directness with the pace and physicality to get the most opponents better.
Arsene Wenger once compared him with Gilberto Silva, but he has grown into a completely different kind of talent and on a different side of London than the Brazilian.
Will they make it?
It is difficult to say at this age whether these three will follow the greatness of Cobham as John Terry and Reece James did and do hundreds of performances for their boys' clubs.
But they certainly have the talent to go a long way in football.
The lack of Conference League football this season will not play in the hands, because matches against lesser opposition will be little between in the coming campaign, where Enzo Maresca will probably not be willing to offer opportunities to unproven prospects in the Champions League.
Sunsport will keep an eye on their development this season, while Cobham seems to prepare a new golden generation of talent to get through their ranks.
