Meet Arsenal wonderkid Max Dowman, 15, is touted as ‘Next Kaka’

Arsenal produces again talented young people.

This season, teenagers Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri moved from Hale End Hopefuls to First Team Stars.

And the same is expected from 15-year-old Max Dowman Die with the first team traveled for the Gunners winter training camp in Dubai.

The attacking midfielder was compared to AC Milan legend Kaka by his youth coach.

While at the tender age of only 13 he was followed by the former teenage child Jack Wilshere in Arsenal's U18 team.

Even a loyal Manchester United Pundit has waxed lyrically about Dowman's exceptional capacity.

However, he may not be able to help Mikel Arteta's injury for the rest of the season because of his age.

According to the Premier League rules, no player under the age group under the age of 16 can be mentioned in a competition day team.

Absolute baller

It is early days in Dowman's development. He doesn't even have a profile on the Arsenal website.

But according to reports, he is known on other academies in the country that his father approached to let him know about their interest.

At the moment his future is closely monitored.

Dowman cannot sign stock markers until he turns 16, before the 2026-27 season.

Unbelievable, he only became 15 on December 31. But he played the heads in competitions in the UEFA Youth League.

The U19 team of Arsenal generally received a miserable campaign and finished 26th in the 36 team table.

But Dowman was the clear spark, who made an impression in competitions against Sporting Lisbon, Inter Milan and Atalanta.

An attacking midfielder, he can play on the flanks, or as a NO10.

Arsenal youth team coach Gus Oliveira compared him with a Brazilian great.

“He plays in the style of Kaka,” Oliveira told PL Brasil last year.

“He can write his name. One day he plays for the national team of England and in the Premier League.”

Record breaker

Those comparisons with Kaka are clearly flattering.

But Dowman has created his own impressive history – breaking records in the Gunners Youth team.

Last year his goal against Atalanta in the UEFA Youth League scored him the youngest goal scorer in the history of the competition – then 14 years, eight months and 19 days.

When Jack Wilshere was a coach of the U18S, he was not afraid to give Dowman a debut on 13 – one again, another record for the youngest debutant.

After the game, Wilshere said: “Debut possibilities are not distributed slightly and Max has shown in recent months that he deserves this opportunity.

“He treated the moment admirably and sent the team an important message that when we introduce players, they have the quality to contribute effectively.”

Dowman has been called up for England -for the U16S and U17s and scored three goals in eight games for the last.

Red Devil praise

Dowman's potential has also not gone unnoticed by sportswear giants.

Nike and Puma made early plays to sign him on a lucrative boat deal.

In the end he chose Adidas to work together.

And it is not only in North Londs, where Dowman gets enthusiastic.

Ex-man Utd star Rio Ferdinand has tipped the talent to follow in the footsteps of Ethan Nwaneri by playing in the first team of Gunners.

“This is not to add pressure to these young players, because I don't want to do that, but I was just a bit disappointed that Arteta Nwaneri gave a little more chance,” said Ferdinand on his YouTube channel 'Rio Ferdinand presents'' In November.

“I saw him come across the other day, not only dangerously looking, he takes the ball, retains the ball, only looks on it, plays like an adult. He plays that odgaard position.

“By the way, they have another among him, a child call Max Dowman. Please go online and view this boy.

“He was 14, I saw him coaching 18 and 19-year-olds in the field when he played with them. And he also plays a bit in that odgaard position, bad player.”
