According to La Provence, Rennes and Marseille are discussing potential players who could join the Breton club as part of a deal that would see Amine Gouiri (24) move to OM. Three players who could be discussed as part of a deal are Bamo Meïté (23), Chancel Mbemba (30) and Ismaël Koné (22).
Following the departure of Elye Wahi to Frankfurt, Marseille are focusing on potential attacking reinforcements to replace the former Montpellier striker. Rennes' Gouiri has emerged as the priority target to replace the Eintracht Frankfurt striker. The former Lyon forward appears to be open to a move, but Les Olympians can use other players in a deal to sign the Algerian international.
As Wahi left the Stade Vélodrome, Roberto De Zerbi made it clear that he had been promised a new striker would be signed before the end of the winter transfer window. Gouiri now appears to be the most popular file being considered by the Public Prosecution Service, but other strikers have also been considered. La Provence understands that Santiago Gimenez, Mathys Tel and Brian Brobbey have also been considered.
