At UFC 316, Merab Dvalishvili will defend his Bantamweight title for the second time.
Fight fans were not exactly enthusiastic because of the announcement that Dvalishvili vs Sean O'Malley 2 would be the next matchup at the top of the 135 pound division.
While the O'Malley team has their reasons to lose the fight, the most important event of UFC 306 seemed not to be too competitive despite the relatively close score cards.
Dvalishvili admitted that motivation could be a problem on his way to the Rematch after he has already improved 'Suga' in September.
The champion was able to find that spark that he must give a goal that he could not reach the first time.
Merab Dvalishvili admits that he 'went easily' on Sean O'Malley on UFC 306 with Showboating
In a recent interview with the SchMO, Merab Dvalishvili admitted that he “easily” went to Sean O'Malley in their first fight on UFC 306.
Apart from a worrying moment towards the end of the fight, many felt as if the challenger always had control over the action, even if two of the jury members had only let him win one round.
“I have extra motivation to complete this fight because [in the] First fight, I went to him easily, but this time I'm looking for [the] Finish. It's nothing against him, this is sport and that is what we do and I just want to make an explanation this time. “

Dvalishvili went out with this assessment of the fight by referring to the different antics he received in the Octagon that only contributed to the story he was dominant.
'The Machine' has a track record for playing the fans and this was completely visible on Sphere.
“Yes, I laughed, I was showing and so on and then I kissed him.”
Now DvalishVili is aimed at completing O'Malley in the Rematch, so that his show boating is set aside so that he can produce even more impressive performance in Newark.
'No, I am not going to kiss in this fight. I intend to finish him and if [a] Kiss will come, I'll never plan this stuff. It's just natural and depends [on] How I will feel. I already kiss him, now it's time to break him. “
Merab dvalishvili used show boating to help him beat Umar Nurmagomedov
Just like his first meeting with Sean O'Malley, the title fight of Merab Dvalishvili with Umar Nurmagomedov was another close game on the score cards.
Nevertheless, 'The Machine' began to show in the fifth round with the coach of Nurmagomedov who believed that this helped to influence the jury members in his favor.
'I told Umar, the reason why you didn't win is in the fifth round because he [Merab] Showboated his way to win that, “said Javier Mendez in the Javier & Mo show.” He behaved like the victor when you were tired and that's why I feel that he actually took it from you because you left him. Now that Nurmagomedov was considerably delayed as the fight progressed, he was unable to match the constant energy of the champion when a show boating Dvalishvili seemed to play with his opponent.
