Lionel Messi is not mentioned in the Argentina team for their Conmebol World Cup qualifications against Uruguay and Brazil because of a muscle load.
Messi was named the first schedule of 33 players, despite concern about his physical status, which missed three games for Inter Miami because of load management.
He returned into action against Cavalier FC in the second stage of the Concacaf Champions Cup Round-of-16 series, before returning to MLS promotion for the Herons on Sunday.
Messi scored on his 2-1 victory at Atlanta United on Sunday and scored his first competition goal of the season with a brilliant Gedempte Finish about Brad Guzan.
He was expected to make the newest team after a full 90 minutes against Atlanta, but he has since been excluded from the last team of Lionel Scaloni.
Argentina currently has a five-point lead at the top of the Conmebol-Qualifying classification and will travel to second place Uruguay this Friday.
They then record Brazil, who are fifth in the table on 25 March, with the Selecao without Neymar, who was expected to return to the national side but with injury withdrawn.
Premier League Quartet Emiliano Martinez, Cristian Romero, Enzo Fernandez and Alexis Mac Allister have also been called for their upcoming matches.
