Michael Bisping thinks he knows what caused Paulo Costa's career.
'Borrachinha' Bulldozed his way to a UFC Middleweight Title shot by gathering a 13-0 MMA record.
Paulo Costa himself sabotaged by drinking a bottle of wine the night before he was eliminated by Israel Adesanya in September 2020 on UFC 253.
Since then, the Brazilian has difficulty bouncing back and losing three of his last four octagonal trips.

Michael Bisping believes that Paulo Costa has a mental block
Michael Bisping is disappointed to see Paulo Costa's UFC career fall apart in recent years.
The former UFC champion middleweight believes that it is a mental issue that makes it possible to potentially fulfill its potential.
Bisping insists that the use of a sports psychologist will help the 34-year-old get things back on track.
“Mr. Inconsistent,” Paulo Costa, “Borrachinha”, who has turned a bit into a bit of a meme, “said the British MMA legend during his UFC 318 prediction video.
“He is a very funny guy to follow on social media. Some things he posts is absolutely hilarious, but what is not so funny are the versions in the octhoek.
“The reason he loses is because it seems like a mental block … Paulo Costa is his own worst enemy.
“Athletic, physically, he is very gifted, but I think he is missing a bit above. I don't mean that as an insult. I mean, there is a mental disconnection, [and] A sports psychologist would certainly help him. '
What is the next step for Paulo Costa?
Costa will return to the profit column in the UFC 318 Co-Main event on Saturday evening.
Just before Dustin Poirier vs. Max Holloway 3 will fall, Costa will come and come off the rising middleweight star Roman Kopylov in the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
A victory would cata back in the title mix, while another defeat could have it cut by the UFC.
The latter is most likely when the prediction of Bisping for this weekend's co-headliner comes out.
'I'm not sure if [Kopylov] Paulo Costa, “concluded the UFC Hall of Famer.
“But I am convinced that he's getting the job done.”
