This Saturday Michael Bisping again received criticism from the UFC Fanbase for his work in the commentary cabin in UFC des Moines.
For the first time since 2000 this Saturday, the UFC returned to Iowa for UFC des Moines, with a main event with head through Bantamweight contenders, Cory Sandhagen and Deiveson Figueiredo.
On the call in the commentary was Booth Brendan Fitzgerald, Paul Felder and Michael Bisping. And it started as a night to forget for the Hall of Famer, Bisping.
Only a few fights in the prelims, heavyweights Thomas Peterson and notal Mayes bumped, and Bisping was closed by the fan base after he had made the same mistake during the entire fight.

Michael Bisping is again confronted with recoil for comment errors
Despite the fact that he had trained heavyweight champion Jon Jones for the most of his training camp with UFC, Mayes was completely dominated during the fight and then lost a decision.
However, it was a constant error of Bisping who had fans who spoke about the fight, while the former UFC champion commentator was continuously called Thomas Peterson, Steven Peterson.
During the defense of the British, Steven Peterson competed in the UFC before he withdrew from the sport in 2023, but he was a featherweight, not a heavyweight.
“Call Bisping Thomas Peterson Steven Peterson the whole fight, LOL?” One fan responded to social media.
Bisping has mentioned Thomas Petersen Stephen several times and nobody has corrected him lmfao #ufcdesmoines

“Why keeps saying Bisping Steven Peterson. Set the comments for f-sake,” said another fan.
“I was willing to let the first go, but someone has to tell the Bisping of the Peterson fights now, is Thomas, Not Steven, Lol,” a third fan noted.
This is not the first time that Bisping has received criticism for his comments in recent weeks, because he was also branded 'The Worst Commentator' by fans after UFC Vegas 105.
And with that he was also closed by the Bantamweight star, Nathan Fletcher who accused him of being biased opposed to his opponent during his UFC London fight, which suggests that fans look at his fight and 'mute Bisping' again.
First DWCS broadcaster Justin Bernard called Thomas Petersen “Thomas Jefferson” and now Bisping calls him Steven Peterson.
What gives?

Who could replace Michael Bisping on UFC commentary?
Although he has previously commented at UFC PPV events, Bisping is usually used for fighting evening events. Although fans have consistently called on the UFC to use someone else.
Dominick Cruz is another former professional who now brings his expertise to the commentary cabin, but he is most commonly used for PPV events.
Veteran Anthony Smith recently retired by fighting and many fans believe that he could have a future in the commentary cabin after he had done analytical work for ESPN.
