Michael Bisping reveals he’s already reached out to Brendan Loughnane, who suffered heartbreaking defeat at PFL world championships
Michael Bisping has reached out to his friend and compatriot Brendan Loughnane after the former PFL champions suffered defeat at the hands of Timur Khizriev.
The warrior gave everything to conquer the world for a second time, but ultimately had no answer to his opponent's superior fight.

On a night where he once again proved his will to win in spades, covered in blood, Brendan Loughnane fought on to the bitter end, trading blows with a ruthless Timur Khizriev.
And while he didn't do enough to climb the PFL mountain for a second time, his valiant effort impressed the greatest English fighter of all time.
Although Michael Bisping did not attend the match live, the action was brought to life through an article he read, which depicted the courage shown by Loughnane.
So, shortly after the fight ended, he contacted his fellow former champion to show him some support.

Bisping tweeted: “Yes, I just read an article and had a text conversation with him. Even though it wasn't his night, he has a lot to be proud of. Most people who start an MMA career don't accomplish anything, if we're being honest.
“Let alone become a champion of a major organization and win life-changing money. I am proud to call him a friend. And as a Brit, I am proud of the way he represented our country. Big respect, @BrendanMMA.”

While Loughnane didn't get the win, Dakota Ditcheva gave Manchester something to cheer about.
The British sensation dominated Taila Santos with fearsome body shots on his way to claiming the PFL flyweight title.
However, despite winning the fight, the division's new queen wasn't done with her opponent and fired brutal shots in her direction in the post-fight interview.
