Michael Bisping offers Kamaru Usman Pension Advice
Kamaru Usman will end his discharge of 18 months in a dangerous fight in State Farm Arena on 14 June.
The former UFC champion Welterweight runs on a three-field losing series in his collision with top candidate Joaquin Buckley, who, according to Bisping, could retire next month.
“If Kamaru Usman loses this fight, it will be the end of his career? I will not throw a shadow,” said the UFC Hall of Famer.
“I have nothing but the biggest respect and deep admiration for Kamaru Usman. He is a solid person, he is an incredible hunter, he has been a great ambassador for this sport. However, 37 years old has not been too active, and then if you lose four in a row, maybe it's time to think away from the sport.
“As I say, I don't say that light. He is a great guy, but we know that Joaquin Buckley is coming up. This is the biggest fight of his career. They are always. But this one is the big one.
“This is the last obstacle, this is the one who gives him a title fight, perhaps if he is a victor. He is only 30 years old.”
Kamaru Usman Previews Joaquin Buckley Fight
Kamaru Usman quickly broke his silence as news about his long -awaited distribution of comeback.
The legend of 170 pounds spoke enormously when he predicted that they would set up a show at UFC Atlanta.
“It's a great fight,” said Usman on the Pound4Pound -Podcast that he shares with Henry Cejudo.
“He is very aggressive, he is strong, he is athletic and I like that. Every now and then, that warrior spirit, you have to practice it, that's where we come from, Henry. I am one of those guys, I do so much time and effort, you have to feel the fight a bit.
“You want to come in and feel that you have argued and I have been in a few where I was not touched and I am gone there, in the back, still adrenaline, the feeling that I have to burn some energy
“Hopefully, if he does his homework, everything comes together, it will be an incredible fight.”
