UFC star Michael Chandler may lose hope in a conflicting confrontation, but possibly not in the octhoek.
Michael Chandler and Conor McGregor had to come after they had filmed the Ultimate Fighter 31. But after their booking from UFC 303 fell apart, just a few weeks before the event last June, McGregor's Fighting Return Timeline Foggy remains, especially after he recently announced that he is for president in Ireland.
Chandler, who will be confronted next month with colleague -Fan favorite Paddy Pimblett on UFC 314, continues to chase McGregor despite almost four full years since the last fight of the former champion. Since McGregor's most recent UFC fight on UFC 264, McGregor has become partly the owner of Bare Knuckle FC and was recently in conversation with Box Logan Paul before the negotiations fell apart.
Despite McGregor's companies outside the Octagon, Chandler does not give up the hope of fighting McGregor along the line.

Michael Chandler presents an interesting solution for booking Conor McGregor Fight
During a recent interview with Covers.com, Chandler was asked about possibly confronted with McGregor in Kale boxing.
“That would be the only fight I took,” Chandler said that I was confronted with McGregor in BKFC.
“If the UFC was on board, the UFC gave both of us, we both went and did it … yes, I would do it.” (H/T MMA Knock -Out)
But Chandler has to overcome a major obstacle at home to secure the McGregor fight in another discipline.
“My wife said you can't fight in a bare knuckle, but I'm a fan of it,” Chandler continued. “I look at it. I bought a few of the pay-per-views. I would sit at the show in Florida before the Conor fight was canceled. So I am a fan of the brand, but I will certainly not fight it.”
Chandler is already ready to probably miss the birth of his daughter while he prepares for Pimblett at UFC 314. But Chandler would fit well with boxing bare knuckle when he finally decides to hang the MMA gloves.
UFC leaders support the presidential run of Conor McGregor that influences the return opportunities
UFC director Dave Shaw endorsed the presidential run of McGregor during the press conference after the fight of UFC London. UFC commentator Joe Rogan acknowledged that McGregor's next combat sport performance that takes place in BKFC is not off the table after recent developments.
The most recent McGregor update from UFC CEO Dana White pointed to a potential return to the cage towards the end of the year, but that will probably be scratched after the political announcement of McGregor.
As far as Chandler is concerned, he wants to come back to the win -column after a loss for Charles Oliveira on UFC 309 in November. He has lost four of his last five fights, but remains a top-pay-per-view name for the UFC buyer.
McGregor vs. Chandler keeps fighting back and forth after years. But if McGregor does not return to the UFC industry corner and runs away from MMA, a potential collision with Chandler remains a possibility in another forum.
