Michael Chandler still keeps hope for a fight with Conor McGregor – even after more than two years of waiting for a booking.
It was February of 2023 when he and McGregor were confirmed to coach on the ultimate hunting season 31, which they had completed at the end of August of that year. They would fight on UFC 303 in June last year, but a broken toe forced the Irishman to withdraw.
Chandler has been fighting twice since then, but it is believed that he has left Prime for years on the table by waiting for his comeback from the Octagon. His two fights have since been defeats for Charles Oliveira and most recently Paddy Pimblett, who cruel him in a victory.
