Dustin Poirier caused a lot of commotion in a recent podcast performance when he was asked about his thoughts about Michael Chandler.
UFC fan favorites Dustin Poirier and Michael Chandler may never see almost four full years after their UFC 281 collision. Despite the time since their Octagon collision, tensions between Chandler and Poirier remain as strong as always.
Chandler will be confronted in a long-awaited five-rounder in the UFC 314 Co-Main event in April. He returns after a loss for Charles Oliveira in their UFC 309 -Rematch by unanimous decision.
Chandler and Poirier treated fans to one of the best fights in UFC Lightweight History at UFC 281. It was a back and forth fighting as long as it took before Poirier Chandler tapped in the final round.
Poirier went on Chandler in a recent podcast performance and called him a 'cheater' and 'fake'. Poirier pointed to some controversial in-fight tactics of Chandler as the main reason for his contempt.

Michael Chandler says he lives 'rental -free' in Dustin Poirier's spirit
During a recent interview about the Zach Gelb show, Chandler responded to Poirier's latest comments.
“Not me [respond]. I don't lose any wink of sleep to think of Dustin Poirier and how he thinks about me, “said Chandler. “Unfortunately I live in his head freely rental, and he loses over me. I don't think about him. If you ask “What do you think of it?” I don't do it.
“It's no problem, and we will continue to move. Not everyone will like you, and I think that's fine. “
At present, Poirier has not commented on his relationship with Chandler. He and Chandler shared the same card for the UFC debut of Chandler Dan Hooker, in which Poirier Conor McGregor eliminated in the main event of the card.
Despite their hostility, Poirier chose surprisingly Chandler to beat Pimblett on UFC 314 with Supreme Confidence.

The beef from Poirier and Chandler reigned in December when Chandler Poirier trolled after his teammate, Michael Johnson, achieved a big victory at UFC Tampa. Johnson is one of the few light weights to eliminate Poirier in their promotional term of office.
Poirier's UFC pension fight is reportedly in the making this year, possibly in the home state of Louisiana of the former interim title holder. He has not fought since he loses UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev on UFC 302 last June.
The hostility between Poirier and Chandler seems to be one -sided and Chandler cherishes in the hatred of his former rival.
