According to Michael Chandler, it is unlikely that the potential return of Conor McGregor at the White House event of the UFC will happen.
Every hope for Conor McGregor who returned to UFC promotion seemed dead to the water until Donald Trump announced that the promotion will organize an event in the White House next year.
After that, McGregor made it very clear that he wanted to return to that card and UFC boss Dana White seemed open to the idea of it.
Although fans doubted the wish of the Irishman to actually return, he made a big leap in the direction of his comeback, which officially returned the test pool.

Chandler Pours Cold Water on McGregor White House comeback
Recently McGregor promised to be the strongest president in history and claimed that he will make his comeback to the UFC to prove his fitness.
His old rival, Michael Chandler, who will hope that McGregor will return, so that they can finally arrange their feud, has cast cold water on 'the notorious' return.
“That octagon on the Witte House Lawn has my name,” Chandler told Ariel Helwani.
“Of course that is the one I want, but every person in the entire schedule wants that fight, so I realize that I am just as good as every person on the Roster for that card.
“You have Jon Jones from the retirement and entering the test pool, you have Conor McGregor immediately afterwards in the test pool.
“I spoke to the UFC about it, they know that I want to be on that card … opponent to determine, but we will see.
“I know I want to fight in the White House, I would like to fight against Conor that is definitely a platform that would get Conor on the right and narrow to get focused on returning to the Octagon … If you are a gambler, I would not bet (McGregor comes back),” Chandler continued.

Who could fight Chandler in the White House?
If Chandler does not ultimately fight the Irish event against the White House event, there are still different options for him, despite his rough run in the promotion.
A fight between Chandler and Renato Moicano would be guaranteed fireworks, and is usually the type of fight that the undercard of such a spectacular unique event should fill.
