Henry Cejudo thinks that father time catches up with him and Michael Chandler.
The former two-division UFC champion is in the same boat as Michael Chandler. Both hunters are 38 years old, on a three-field loss streak with two of those losses that come to former champions and still hold a place in the top 10 of their respective divisions.
Chandler suffered his third loss on Saturday in the Co-Main event of UFC 314 on Saturday by Paddy Pimblett.
The #12-ranking Pimblett has absolutely wiped the floor with Chandler and the former Bellator champion bleeding for a TKO interruption in round 3.
Chandler did not look worse in the UFC, with Michael Bisping called the performance on UFC 314 A 'Career-Miller'. Josh Thomson claimed that Chandler was 'ready' and 'washed' for losing Pimblett.

Henry Cejudo tells Michael Chandler to retire
Henry Cejudo heard similar criticism late in his career and wanted another fight for himself before he withdraws from MMA, hoping to prevent serious injuries, such as the eye damage he received from his recent loss with Song Yadong.
As far as Chandler should do, Cejudo would like to see him follow a similar path.
After all, the fan favorite fan is apart from so many wars from Bellator to UFC.
“I am 0-3. So I get it, Chandler,” Cejudo told MMA Junkie.
“He probably needs to get another one and just take retirement into account,” said Cejudo.
“Those are many strokes, man.”
Henry Cejudo says that Michael Chandler could have been the best '
Michael Chandler went later than most of the UFC, a few months before his 35th birthday. Chandler was a three-time champion in Bellator and almost won the UFC title in his second UFC fight against Charles Oliveira before he lost Comeback TKO.
Chandler's also set up big fights against Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje, but the American would just fall short of the finish line every time.
“I think Chandler could have been the best in the world,” said Cejudo about Chandler's potential.
“He is too much of a crowd puller and that really bitten him in his ass.
Currently 0-3, Cejudo wonders how long the UFC Michael Chandler would keep in the area if he continues to lose.
“Mike Perry was also a crowd puller,” said Cejudo about Mike Perry, who left the UFC in 2021 after a whole series of fun fights.
“There is only a certain time before the UFC just says:” Hey man, thank you for pleasing us, but we have to go on … “
“I feel like Chandler, they are probably going at the moment, maybe the UFC can give him a younger guy, and that is usually what happens in this game,” said Cejudo.
