Mikel Arteta offers mixed defensive injury update for Real Madrid battle

Mikel Arteta was struck tightly over his defense injury crisis before he hosted Real Madrid on April 8.

The Gunners are confronted with a seasonal double header of matches against the defensive European champions.

With Liverpool Cruising away in the Premier League title race, the side of Arteta are fighting to pass the power of Real Madrid and to keep their UCL -dream for the first time after the quarter phase under his leadership.

The plans of Arteta were affected with a big blow in the midweek, after an injury for important defender Gabriel Magalhaes in the 2-1 home victory in Fulham, where the Brazilian international was now excluded from the rest of the campaign.

The Hamstring problem of Gabriel requires surgery and Arteta is now without one of its first choice -center backs to face Carlo Ancelotti.

Gabriel's partnership with William Saliba has been the foundation of the Arteta team, but he will now adjust.

Prior to a Premier League trip to Everton this weekend, Arteta Italy confirmed International Riccardo Calafiori, but Ben White and Jurrien Timber have the chance to play in both games.

“Ricci is also not fit. In the past week we have lost four players. Let's see how Ben and Jurrien are tomorrow.” he said.

A late call with being made on wood and white, but the priority is the Real Madrid game and Arteta could keep them on the couch in Goodison Park.

If they are suitable to be confronted with Real Madrid, White and Timber can be in the two full rear spots, with Myles Lewis-Skelly's lack of experience a possible problem against the power of visitors to Ancelotti.

Poland International Jakub Kiwior seems to be the chance of a candidate to get into the heart of the defense of Arsenal instead of Gabriel and he gets 90 minutes at Everton in preparation for Arsenal's biggest game of the campaign so far.
