Match report
Tijjani Reijnders and Samuel Chukwueze both scored goal-page goals as AC Milan pulled off an unlikely 3-2 victory over Parma in Sunday's dramatic clash at San Siro.
Parma took the lead in the 24th minute through Matteo Cancellieri's strike from outside the area, although Christian Pulisic equalized with a penalty seven minutes before the break.
Enrico del Prato put the visiting Parma in front with 10 minutes left, taking advantage of a loose ball after Mike Melignan denied Drissa Camara.
Strahinja Pavlovic thought he had equalized late on, only for the goal to be ruled out for offside, but Reijnders made amends just minutes later.
The Milan midfielder was roped in by Yunus Musah, keeping cool to stop past Zion Suzuki two minutes into added time.
The late drama intensified when substitute Chukwueze bundled home his thigh from Pavlovic's downward header in the 95th minute, sealing a remarkable turnaround for Sergio Concuketicao's hosts.
The dramatic win moves Milan to sixth in the standings with 34 points, while Parma are 17th after managing 20 points in the 2024-25 campaign.
Data debrief: Mighty Milan Mount unlikely comeback
Milan looked destined for back-to-back defeats in Serie A for the first time since a three-game run between January and February 2023, until this remarkable comeback before stoppage time.
The late home heroics mean Parma have now conceded 10 goals in the final 15 minutes of the second half, only Como (11) have conceded more in this season's competition.
Chukwueze's first goal in the competition since mid-October proved decisive as Milan took a deserved win, collecting 2.69 expected goals (XG) to Parma's 1.77.
The defeat leaves Parma without a win in their last four league games, although the manner of the loss will have made the pain worse for Fabio Pecchia.
