St. Louis City SC -defender Henry Kessler says that the team should compile a “complete” 90 minutes because they want to end to end their MLS Winless Streak against Minnesota United.
St. Louis has not won any of their last nine competitions (D3 L6), a run that goes back to mid -March, while they are 14th in the Western Conference on 11 points.
They had a 2-0 lead slipping away against Sporting Kansas City in their 2-2 draw in the midweek, and Kessler says that the team must start thinking about the stronger finishing of games.
“I think we should put a complete 90 minutes together,” he said. “We sometimes played really well, we have had late leads, so it's all about putting together a full 90 -minute fitness and mental focus.
“They must both be there. I think we can improve both.
“We all want to win, and if you haven't won for a while, frustration comes out. It takes time for consistent change. I think we'll get out of this [run]. “

In the meantime, Minnesota was brought back to Earth by a 2-0 defeat to the Houston Dynamo, just a few days after their big win over Inter Miami.
It was just their second defeat in 12 games, and they remain third in the West, five points behind leaders Vancouver.
Head coach Eric Ramsay was disappointed by the result of Wednesday, but expects his players to show some fighting on Saturday.
'We must ensure that there is no hangover [Wednesday’s] Match for Saturday, “he said.
“It is clear that I will follow a similar approach if the changes made by Miami in Houston, and I expect them to show a real despair to give that result well, and they will be well placed to do.”
