Patricio Pitbull does not waste time after he has finally signed for the UFC and is planning to fight for gold within two fights.

The legendary former Bellator champion is generally considered one of the greatest hunters who never step into the Octagon. That was until this year he signed with the promotion after his PFL contract ended after an ugly public fight.

Now he immediately jumped at the deep of the featherweight division and next month on number five -arranged Yair Rodriguez on UFC 314. And with Alexander Volkanovski and Diego Lopes fighting for a new vacant belt in the main event, he has a target in his visor.

“A fight with Yair Rodriguez brings me to a great place in the division,” said Pitbull during an interview with Megan Olivi for the official UFC YouTube channel. “So if my performance is really good, I believe I will fight for the title.”

He has promised to set up a great achievement, adding it: “He is good, he is very dynamic, but I am better. I put it off, put it down and broke it. That is what will happen … They will see the best of the planet in action, and the most complete lean on the planet.”
