Moment Man Utd hat-trick hero Amad FORGETS to take match ball before being bailed out by Old Trafford crowd

AMAD'S quick treble saved Manchester United – before the crowd saved it!

The wideman forgot to keep the match ball after single-handedly canceling out a Manuel Ugarte own goal as United sank Southampton 3-1.

Instead, Amad fired the ball into the ecstatic fans behind the goal.

But in a moment described as 'wholesome' by viewers, supporters were quick to take it back to him.

And although he briefly forgot the tradition of keeping the ball for scoring three goals, fans will always remember his twelve magical minutes.

After switching from full-back to a more attacking role, Amad first swung into the penalty area to score the equalizer in the 82nd minute.

He then gave the Red Devils the lead just before time expired – after a sublime return pass from substitute Christian Eriksen.

And four minutes into stoppage time, Amad punished Taylor Harwood-Bellis' mad attempt to play out from the back by rolling in his third goal.

The Ivorian was quick to enjoy the roar of joy and relief around a relieved Old Trafford after the final whistle.

He shocked many fans by handing the ball over, but what happened next delighted viewers.

One observer wrote: “The crowd giving Amad the ball back because he forgot the hat-trick, meaning he leaves with the match ball, was healthy.

Another wrote: “He gave the crowd the ball, the crowd sent it back. Take it, Amad.”

And a third declared: “Plays RWB, scores a hat-trick and wins the game single-handedly. Amad Diallo is the face of Manchester United.”

A fourth viewer suggested the exciting star had failed to stand out as United struggled for most of the match before bursting into life with his triple treat.

The fan posted: “Amad played an average game, but the talent will come out. Worth twice Garnachos.”

The 22-year-old himself said: “I am ready to play in any position. I am ready to fight for this club and for Manchester United.

“Three goals in twelve minutes? Well, in football you always have to believe in it.”

Meanwhile, many viewers pointed out that Amad has scored a first Prem hat-trick ahead of both troubled teammate Marcus Rashford, 27, and Arsenal's 23-year-old winger Bukayo Saka.
