Monaco 2-1 Nice: Embolo winner puts PSG’s title celebrations on ice

The Ligue 1-title celebrations of Paris Saint-Germain will have to wait after Monaco came from behind to beat Nice 2-1 in the Derby de la Cote d'Azur.

With Marseille who loses at Reims and PSG Hammering Saint-Etienne, a draw between Monaco and Nice would have sealed the title for the Luis enrique team in Saturday's late game.

Instead, PSG will have to wait a little longer to get the job done, with the efforts of Breel Embolo that completes the reversal for Monaco in Stade Louis-II.

Monaco has now taken 16 points from losing positions this season, more than any other team in Ligue 1 in 2024-25.
