Eric Dier (31) has said that he is 'excited' by the prospect of playing as Monaco next season. The former Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur-Man, who wrote a three-year-old deal with the Principality Club, has also set the goal to return to the attitude of England.
Dier's last performance for the Drie Leeuwen came over a 3-0 win over Senegal at the FIFA World Cup 2022. Although it has been almost three years ago since his last international performance, he did not give a recall prior to the World Cup of the following summer.
“It is always my goal to be in the national team,” the Engelsman started attending a French football news in a press conference. “I have 49 caps, it would be nice to have 50. This annoys me a bit (laughs). It is a goal of mine, but you just have to play well for your club,” he added.
